Competition for Ms McCarron and Mr. Deeney’s P6 classes
To herald the launch of their new base at Belfast International Airport, Aer Lingus are inviting P6 classes to take part in an art competition to design an image which will be displayed on a sticker on the side of an aircraft, which will fly from Belfast International Airport to London Heathrow.
The image will represent how children of Northern Ireland see themselves with their hopes for the future living in a peaceful, prosperous and optimistic Northern Ireland.
The winning class will receive a prize of free flights for the entire class and teachers to anywhere on the Aer Lingus route network, departing from Belfast International Airport.
One entry per class on A3 paper
Closing date for entries is Friday 14th December

Recently nine pupils from our school went to the Calgach Centre. It was for a photographic competition.The nine people were Niamh Mc Gee, Rachel Mc Callion, Cliona Young, Niamh Mc Devitt, Caoimhe Wade, Alicia McMonagle, Brendan Deeney, Dermott McCarron and James Mc Daid. It was European Day there.
Niamh Mc Devitt was presented with a digital camera by the Mayor after she won first prize, Dermot and Brendan were presented with a ten pound book voucher each. After that we all got goody bags with the European flag on it. In the bag there were pencils and a pencil case, a sharpener some rubbers and some leaflets.
After all that we went back to school. We were very tired when we got back.
