Hi everyone!

Here we are in September of P.2, ready for lots of work and play.  Our teacher's name is Mrs Mead and our Learning Support Assistants are Mrs Dalzell & Miss O'Brien.

Our breakfast club has reopened and begins each morning at half past 8. Our breakfast consists of cereal, toast and a drink of apple juice/orange juice and costs 60p each day.

Our teacher loves to see us coming into class. We must bring a healthy break to school with us.  This means a drink of still, unflavoured water or milk, and a portion of fresh fruit or vegetables. 

We must bring a coat with a hood every day - our weather is very unpredictable! 

Our topic for September is bears - we are learning about different kinds of bears and reading lots of stories about bears. 

We need our parents' support to become fluent readers and develop a love of books even if it's only a bedtime story.  We should be given lots of opportunities to write, draw and count at home.

We all do our best in P.2 and our teacher is very proud of us.

When school is over at 2.30pm we will meet our parents on the playground.
